‘Late Bloomer’ Exhibition

A couple of days into the new year I received some unexpected and exciting news. I found out that the community art space Gallery9 onbraid has accepted my submission for a solo exhibition of my work! This doesn’t leave me a lot of time to get organised so I’m glad I framed most of my finished pieces already, before my optimism shrivelled up last year, lol. Nevertheless, I am still attempting to squeeze one more finished piece into the show so I will be very busy over the next few weeks!

The most exciting thing for me is being able to have all my paintings on display in one space – I can’t wait to show my friends and family what I’ve been working so passionately on for the past two years. To be able to invite everyone else in my community to come take a look is just the icing on the cake.

I hope you will be able to make my show, running from 27 Feb – 9 Mar 2026. There’s nothing like seeing original artwork in real life – the colours, the texture, the smell… digital images just can’t represent the full experience of oil on canvas. Please bring your friends and spread the word! ❤️
