Pop-up cards for Mrs Dee
One of the best things about home schooling is that when it’s raining and miserable outside, we can all just stay in our pyjamas and get crafty. On this day, I decided we should head over to my little cabin studio and learn how to make pop-ups. I also taught Daniel how to use watercolour paints. Both kids decided to gift their cards to their first teacher (and now my fellow artist friend), Mrs Dee. Afterwards, we biked over to her house, and left the cards in a plastic bag on her doorstep for her to discover when she got home from school <3 .

We might have chosen to leave the school system, but we can all still appreciate how special great teachers like Mrs Dee are, and how the good memories stay with us long after we’ve left their classroom.
